In 2007, a group of some thirty people, including journalists, authors, circus people, visual and performance artists, film and television professionals - all of whom loved Pierre Etaix’ films and the writing of Jean-Claude Carrière – decided to pool their talents for a common cause: the defence and promotion of a fragile and remarkable body of films, enabling them once more to light up our darkened cinemas.
